Just a note to let you know that based on advice from the Government with regards to the Coronavirus, all Singing Cafe and afternoon Tent club sessions will be cancelled until further notice.
We do hope you are well and following the advice being given.
Either myself (Jane), Angela, Gill or Linda will endeavour to keep in touch via telephone occasionally to enquire after your well-being and to ascertain if we can be of assistance in any way.

Stopsley Tent Project (STP)
encompasses two activities;
both events are run by volunteers...
The Greenhouse, 16-22 St Thomas’s Road, Luton, LU2 7UY
SSC is a ‘Singing Café’ primarily for individuals living with dementia.
Music and singing are known to be a help to people with Dementia.
Individuals from all areas in Luton attend, some members who’ve been attending from the opening of SSC.
We sing a variety of songs, we dance, we go on regular outings; an annual trip is to Putteridge Bury during the summer months and a pre-Christmas trip to a garden centre to stock up on Christmas presents and decorations.
SSC have onsite musicians but also have guest musicians and speakers throughout the year.
The person living with Dementia enjoys the singing and activities and the carers get a chance to liaise with other carers and have a much deserved ‘breather’.
We also provide a variety of homemade cakes and beverages.
There is no charge but we do ask for a small donation towards running costs.

The Social Club (AKA The Tent) is for ALL; males and females of all ages are welcome to attend.
The Social club is a relaxing ambience; where we meet to chat over a cup of tea or coffee and delicious cakes, which are home-baked and served by the volunteers.
Typical activities include games, quizzes, bingo as well as regular guest speakers and social trips arranged throughout the year.
The activities are run entirely by volunteers who are committed to practises, which promote the welfare of participants and protects them from harm.
We ensure that all activities take place in a safe and enjoyable environment in which participants have fun and feel valued.
